The June edition of The Fairground Mercury, the quarterly magazine of the Fairground Association of Great Britain, has been posted to all its members. This 40-page, full-colour issue has a cover featuring a brand-new attraction at this year’s Kirkcaldy Links Market. Inside, members pay tribute
to the late showman Tommy Green, Roger Mills surveys the wartime fairground scene to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Ian Trowell takes a look at the Octopus ride, and Ned Williams completes his trilogy of articles on the children of JP Collins. Mike Willis records all the latest machine changes,
while Doug Roseaman writes about repairing a model fairground now on display in a museum. Plus
lots more!
The Fairground Mercury is sent free each quarter to all members of the FAGB. The March edition of The Fairground Mercury, the quarterly magazine of the Fairground Association
of Great Britain, has been posted to all its members.
In this 40-page, full-colour issue members’ photographs celebrate the festive season’s fairs, Ned Williams continues his chronicling of the Collins family, Doug Roseaman writes about a Dutch high-tech modelmaker, Roger Mills looks at who the 1921 census recorded at an Abingdon fairground, Mike Willis lists all the recent machine changes and there are exclusive details from KMG of their latest ride.

The December edition of The Fairground Mercury, the quarterly magazine of the Fairground Association of Great Britain, has been posted to all members of the FAGB. In this 40-page, full-colour issue members’ photographs celebrate this year’s back-end run, Roger Mills completes his survey of the last 60 years, Ian Trowell looks at fairground art inspired by the rave culture, and Mike Willis lists all the recent machine changes. In addition there are articles on what was once Dorset’s most famous fair, the history of the Pelham family, and fairground modelmaking. And lots more!
