The June edition of The Fairground Mercury, the quarterly magazine of the Fairground Association of Great Britain, has been posted to all its members. This 40-page, full-colour issue has a cover featuring a brand-new attraction at this year’s Kirkcaldy Links Market. Inside, members pay tribute
to the late showman Tommy Green, Roger Mills surveys the wartime fairground scene to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Ian Trowell takes a look at the Octopus ride, and Ned Williams completes his trilogy of articles on the children of JP Collins. Mike Willis records all the latest machine changes,
while Doug Roseaman writes about repairing a model fairground now on display in a museum. Plus
lots more!

The Fairground Mercury is sent free each quarter to all members of the FAGB.
