The Fairground Mercury
The September edition of The Fairground Mercury, the quarterly magazine of the Fairground Association of Great Britain, has been posted to all members. In this issue: Martin Burridge chronicles his half century taking fairground photos; Roger Mills looks at the astonishing achievements of British fairground ride decorators; an article asks if the Epsom Derby is in decline; news of a British-made Waltzer that is now thrilling US teenagers; and 75 years on Roger Mills celebrates the Festival of Britain. Plus news from the NFCA and the FHT, and tributes to those have passed on. Mike Willis contributes his regular list of recent machine changes, while the Feedback section contains members’ responses to the previous edition. All this in 40 pages of full colour!
The Fairground Mercury is sent free each quarter to all members of the FAGB.
